Go Climb a Cactus: RESTOCK ALERT!

Happy weekend lovies! So this weekend is totally jammed back full of events and driving! A wedding tomorrow, then back home to reach Sunday school and ship cattle, then driving to a family gathering for my Mother in law's birthday celebration! I do love to go and totally eat up all the family time I can get! That being said, I'm always looking for a cute but not too dressy outfit for family gatherings. We eat, drink, and be merry. I absolutely adore Cameron's family. I am so blessed to  a part.

Ok so I've been sinning over this wonderful mini catus long sleeve tee. It's oversized and screams comfy! It pairs great with boyfriend jeans, skinnies, or cut offs. It's the perfect weight for breezy summer nights. It has be out of stock forever it seems, and it just came back in stock last night!! Get me while you can!

So have a wonderful and safe weekend. What are your plans for this weekend? I cannot wait to show y'all my super fun and little bit funky look for the wedding tomorrow! Be sure to follow me on Instagram @westernhomestead to keep up with all the latest!

Master Bedroom Inspiration

Good Tuesday morning! I'm so excited to see the sun shining today. I feel like it's a long lost friend. Today is all about inspiration for our master bedroom. It seems like it's always the most ignored room in my house.  I decided that it was going to my first act of business this time around.

1. Cowhide rug - to me a room just looks more full and fun with a rug on the floor.

2. Buffet - I'm looking for an antiqued buffet to make a coffee bar.  I have a feeling I'll be hitting up my favorite spot Alley Cat Vintage Mercantile.

3. Fresh flowers - I always need some flowers to make a room feel more sophisticated and romantic.

4. Couch- I want an area for those rare mornings that the husband and I can enjoy conversation and coffee kidless.

5. Candles - nothing shouts romance like tons of lighted candles. It just relaxes me and sets a very calm mood. Not to mention I love a good smelling room!!

6&8 kinda go hand in hand a coffee pot and cute coffee cups are a no brainer for a functioning master bedroom coffee bar.

7. Cowboy vibe - We live and breath the cowboy way of life. We live in the headquarter house of the Switch House Ranch. I was born and raised her and have been blessed to return and raise my family.

9. Mirrors - Mirrors are crucial for  They create a fun look when they're grouped together.

10. Sheds - thankfully these are very easy for me to get a hold of while just driving around out in the pasture. Sheds  create a fun nature look. I love to wrap a set of candles with an antler.

Current Makeup Faves

Happy Saturday! I'm so excited about the fun Kate Spade Loop Giveaway I'm hosting on my Instagram page. I hope you have joined and followed all the other amazing shops and bloggers. I wanted to say a quick hello to all the new ladies out there!

Today I wanted to just share a few items that I use weekly. I love to keep my makeup routine very's the mom life way! Working at ULTA I quickly turned into a makeup junkie. I'm a huge Too Faced fan. They offer wonderful product, and it doesn't hurt that they sure know how to package it. I'm a sucker for cute packaging.

First I'd like to introduce you to Too Faced Sugar Pop pallet. I'm an natural makeup kinda girl, and this comes with great subtle colors of pink, orange, turquoise, and tans. I did my gorgeous niece's makeup for prom and she doesn't really wear makeup. I used this pallet on her and she absolutely loved it. She is picky and I love that about a girl! Nothing better than a 17 year old girl who knows what she wants and likes. The world could use more like her! I used soft pinks and tans and holy moly, she was a total smoke show! Nothing compliments Sugar Pop like Benefit's Roller Lash. I have some outlaw lashes. From my freshmen year when I started wearing makeup they would just stick straight out. I used lash curler, and no luck at all. Then I recently found Roller Lash, and lemme tell you girl it works!!  Finishing off my look is never complete without my #TFNOFILTER Selfie powder. You can get great finishing looks with these powders. It's a great alternative to bronzer. This summer nude lips are hot. Usually I just put some simple chapstick or gloss on, BUT I'm in total love with Too Faced Melted Nude. It is the perfect natural shade. I wear it everyday.

I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Weekend. I'm so thankful for all the men and women who have fought for my freedom. God Bless Y'all!

Fun Flamingo Friday!!

I I

Happy Friday!! I know the weather here in Texas is a complete mess.  Between the monsoon rains and cool temperature you would never know that summer is right around the corner. Just give it a few days and it'll be back it its warm sunny self again. I will say as ranchers we are totally soaking up this wonderful moisture!

Today I wanted to bring you a fun outfit that just might lift you right out of that rainy slump you just might be in, as I am. I have always been obsessed with flamingoes, even when it wasn't cool. There just isn't any other bird that has pink feathers and is so much fun on clothes, headbands, well pretty much anything.

You know I'm all about the pattern mixing, BUT sometimes its fun to recreate the same pattern through out your look by different looks of the same thing. I love this cute tank along with the scrunchy headband. You pair these two cuties with some pink skinnies and black and white polkadot Keds, and you have a super cute happy go lucky look for any fun summer activity. I honestly feel like you can never have too much pink. Keep your makeup looking light and add some soft pink blush and this amazing pink from Tarte to your lips.

I hope this fun look put as big a smile on you as it did me. What is the weather doing in your neck of the woods? I have to post the pictures I took the other day of all the flooding that h as taken place down the 13 miles of dirt road we live down. We have been in a stage 5 drought for a good while and the good Lord just keeps blessing us with rain. They finally moved our drought to a stage 3 and the lakes are spilling over. What a wonderful blessing!

Fun Flamingo Friday!!

Kimono Krazy!

Good Thursday morning lovies!! My name is Jordan, and I can't put my Rollin J kimonos down much less my coffee!! I wanted to share with y'all this morning a few of my faves they still have in stock currently. Let me tell you if you see something you want....get it now!!!! I love everything about kimonos. I can just be wearing a tank and skinnies around the house and when I need to run to town and want to take my look up to the next level or two I just grab my kimono and head out the door! I'm a sucker for a great floral pattern, as I'm sure you have learned throughout my fashion blogging journey. There is just no better way to make me feel a little more girly on an off day. Maybe the kids are "grunchy" { my two year old daughter's word for grouchy } or I'm just in funk. I love the extra flair of fringe or lace inlay on the borders of the sleeve and bottom. I encourage you to take these fun looks and incorporate them in your wardrobe. I love that kimonos can be mixed with fun graphic tees or over dresses for a more "FANCY" look.

What are some of your things in your wardrobe that you just can't seem to put down this spring? What are some of your little girly secrets that just make your day. Mine are florals and Starbucks!!
In the morning give me kimonos&scoffer

Gel Polish Removal at Home!

Afternoon ladies! So glad that the internet is back up and running. Today I'm bringing you an at home gel polish removal. If you're like me you are a momma and have a million better things to do then sit there at the nail salon while they remove your gel polish. Not to mention other things to use the money on. I recently started doing gel polish again after having Taos. While I was at the nail salon a few weeks ago I thought to myself I do not want to sit here wasting time getting my polish removed. I did a little online research and tried it out for myself. So here we go ladies!

Easy as literally 1-2-3!! I love gel nails. It's a great long lasting look without the damage of acrylic. And if you hear it is damaging, it is most likely due to improper removal such as picking and  peeling it off. Do you gel nail? What are some of your favorite colors for this summer?

Rodan + Fields Review

Well ladies it's time for me get naked faced in front of y'all!!! EEEkkkk, our biggest nightmare is to post makeupless pictures of ourselves to social media for everyone to see. Since I have been introduced to Rodan + Fields by a very sweet  friend Jessica Pellizzari I have the new confidence to bare my all natural face.
She first approached and gave me the link to a quiz called The Quick Solution Tool. You take the quiz and answer question pertaining to your skin issues and habits. Then after completing the quiz the results are sent instantly to your email.  Take the quiz HERE
After I took my quiz I let her know my results and she set me up with the Unblemished: Regimen for Acne and Post Acne Marks. Clinically proven to combat the entire acne cycle, this sophisticated regimen helps unclog pores, clears acne blemishes and calms your complexion to keep pimples, blackheads and post-acne marks from making an unwelcome appearance on your face—and in your life.

Since many acne sufferers have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), the remnant red/brown marks following a healed blemish, we offer UNBLEMISH Spot Fading Toner. However, if you are one of the lucky few who does not experience PIH, use our UNBLEMISH Clarifying Toner as an alternative.

The UNBLEMISH Regimen features four full-size products: Acne Treatment Sulfur Wash 125 mL/4.2 Fl.Oz.; Spot Fading Toner 125 mL/4.2 Fl.Oz. OR Clarifying Toner 125 mL/4.2 Fl.Oz.; Dual Intensive Acne Treatment 2 x 22.5 mL/.76 Fl.Oz.; and Oil Control Lotion SPF 20 30 mL/1 Fl.Oz.
UNBLEMISH Acne Treatment Sulfur Wash
Unclogs pores and reduces redness
UNBLEMISH Clarifying Toner
Cleans pores and prepares skin for treatment
UNBLEMISH Dual Intensive Acne Treatment
Unique dual chamber delivery system ensures maximum efficacy of benzoyl perioxide, helping prevent the development of new acne blemishes
UNBLEMISH Oil Control Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 20
Controls oiliness as it protects against UV rays that intensify post-acne marks and uneven skin tone
At first I only did my skin routine once a day. They suggest that you give your skin time to adjust to the regimen and ease into using it twice a day. I have absolutely loved my results, and strongly recommend their products to anyone at any stage of life.  I have seen some amazing transformations from this skin line.
I have thrown out all my concealers and heavy coverage makeup and just use a simple BB cream each day. I love my new skin: the softness, even tone, and no acne!!
Please be sure to give Jessica Pellizzari's website a gander and shop around. I know you won't regret checking Rodan + Fields out. Visit her website

And here are my results!! They speak for themselves!!
