Navajo Wrap

Good Wednesday morning y'all! I hope y'all are having a great week. I am enjoying all the rodeo and fashion action from Las Vegas this week. This has been the most fun year to keep up wit fashion thanks to The Bleacher Babe. Y'all need t find her on Instagram to keep in the know of all things Vegas.
Today I'm bringing you my absolute favorite thing in my closet. This amazing Navajo wrap comes from the wonderful Highway Hippie Company. This piece is a staple to any girl who loves western fashion. It can go with so many different looks. I have worn it with my favorite skinnies, and Saturday night I wore it with a little black dress to the last night of the World Finals. It is incredibly warm and so stylish. I love grabbing it when I'm running out the door to the grocery store to dress up what I might be wearing a little bit. This is the perfect something for that special someone to still haven't checked off your gift list or maybe even for yourself!
I hope y'all are enjoying this wonderful season as much as I am. I just love that my little man loves Peanuts. We watch Charlie Brown's Christmas almost everyday! What are some of your favorite traditions  with your family?

Leopard&Crushed Velet

OH MY GOODNESS! It's finally December and Christmas time is in full swing! It's time for the hustle and bustle here and there and going everywhere! It seems like there is always a party or dance recital going on. This week I have some great looks for each of these special events from the Highway Hippie Company.
Today's look is nothing short of absolute heaven! I'm in total love with this leopard tunic. It has a great fit that highlights all the right places. A gorgeous high collared neckline that gives you an elegant look all while maintaining your wild woman status with the flashy leopard print. It has the perfect flow to hide the fact that maybe just maybe you may have had one too many cocktails or sugar cookies. But hey, who doesn't indulge this time of year?? Go one sister and enjoy! Now I will move to the rockin  burgundy crushed velvet bells. They not only scream vintage love from the 70s, but girl let me tell you about the comfort level of these babies! I wore these to the World Finals on Saturday night and I literally  felt like I was leaving the house in my jammie bottoms. I swear I will wear these out this winter!! These are super versatile and I feel can be worn through winter with tunics and graphic tees layered with fur.
Go to your Instagram like right after you read this and find Highway Hippie Company and give them a like! They have some great looks for the Christmas season not only for your special events but even for your wish list! Stayed tuned this week for more great looks to come from them!

Bauble Bar Gift Guide

Bauble Bar Gift Guide

Happy Black Friday! I hope all you shoppers out there scored all the big deals you were hoping to. I for one am not brave enough to go out and shop with the die hards! I'll just sit at home with my coffee and enjoy the wild Black Friday shoppers via Facebook videos.

I know most of us girls who are followers of Western Homestead love our turquoise, but I know we love our glitz as well. I have always adored most everything from Bauble Bar. They have such fun pieces that add a funky twist to your look. I for one am obsessed with monogramming. It's every where! We wear it around out necks, fingers, and arms all the way to sweet baby onesies. I feel like a gift of monogramming is always a win. What better way to make that special someone feel even more special with their very own initials in a gorgeous necklace. This is a perfect gift for newlyweds as they are just changing their last names and might need an updated monogramed jewelry.

Tassels are another love of mine. I'm overly obsessed with the earrings from Bauble Bar. I see them every where on bloggers, and darn it I think they are just darling! How cute would they be for that perfect Christmas party LBD?? Along with a tassel necklace would do the job just as nicely.

They also have some great gift sets at the moment that one must jump on immediately!

A Heart of Thanksgiving

It's Thanksgiving Eve...well that is a thing in my world!! I absolutely adore this holiday. I wish I practiced my thankfulness year round the way I do the month of November. As I took the time to just sit and bask in all the blessings the Lord has bestowed upon me, tear filled my eyes. He has given me more than my selfish heart could ever deserve, and it seems with each year my blessings multiply.
Psalm 145:7They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
I'm so thankful for my faith that I have placed in my Savior Jesus Christ. This year has been such a year of growth in my walk. I have taken my prayer life much more serious than in the past. I'm not saying that I'm perfect in any way because I fail daily. I struggle to be more Christ like to my spouse, children, family, and friends.
I am thankful for Cameron my husband. He is everything the Bible say love is. He is patient, he is kind, he does not envy, he does not boast, he is not proud, he does not dishonor others, he is not self seeking, he is slow to anger, he keeps no record of my wrongs, he does not delight in evil but in truth, He protects, always hopes, always trusts, and always perseveres. Cameron works very hard for us. I just want to remember to always thank him for all he does and is unfailing love.
I am thankful for my children. They are such a blessing with each day. Their innocence and adventurous spirits never fail to bring a smile to my face and warmness to my heart. I'm thankful for their constant forgiveness of my mistakes and impatience I have with them on a daily basis. They shower me with grace. I'm so thankful for that in itself. I pray for their salvation each day. Every morning they have baptisms I admire the sparkle in the parent's eyes as they watch their child follow through with their faith. I long for these days!
I am thankful for Cameron's job, our home, and the food that is on our table. Some days are more difficult than others when it comes to these things. I will say we have come such a long way in our seven years together. Thank the Lord.
I'm thankful for all of friends and family. I don't know where I would be today if it weren't for your love and support through life. I am so happy I have y'all to share in the trials and tribulation as well as the joys of life.
I wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you eat till you can't button your pants and laugh till your gut hurts!!

Thanksgiving Inspiration from Katey McFarland

Thanksgiving Inspiration

Good Tuesday morning loves!! We are just a couple days away from Thanksgiving!! Yes, this delights me so!!! I've been enjoying both babies home along with the snuggles and crock pot recipe dinners. Family and food, now that's what makes a great day!!

This look is inspired from my absolute hands down favorite blogger, Katey McFarland. She spotted a heavenly look of white sweater on white skinnies to church on Sunday. If y'all haven't caught on to her blog you totally need to head over! There is link on my side bar labeled "Blogs I Love". She added a nice pop of color with a great olive coat. I chose mustard yellow, because it's kinda my favorite obsession right now! Katey also gave some great tips for jazzing up a simple sweater for Thanksgiving day. She says to add a statement lip like red or maybe for me a deep plum color. Also a great pair of sparkley earrings or even tassel earrings.

I hope y'all have a great day. I'm hoping you're either home with you're family or this is your last day of school or work!!!
